I lied. I think I want Amy Gumenick for Nurse Chapel now. She’s super classy and cute. She played young Mary Winchester on Supernatural and look at this adorable commercial she did.

I decided to make this while watching Plato’s Stepchildren tonight. The first time I saw this episode, I had known to expect the kiss between Kirk and Uhura, but I had never heard about Spock and Nurse Chapel kissing. When Uhura and Chapel were beamed down to the planet, I thought “Ohhhh, this is going to be the Kirk/Uhura kiss! Are Spock and Chapel going to kiss too? I bet she’s going to love that.” But then she had this line. And it punched me in the gut. I was so happy that she said it. Her ability to remain so selfless in such a cruel horrific situation and put aside her feelings for Spock are part of what makes this one of my favourite Star Trek episodes of all time.

Ellen Pompeo? Hmmm I think I still like Elizabeth Banks best but sadly have no manips. I use Rosamund Pike for one RP and Adrian Palicki for another (Yes I RP Chapel twice, not scratch that three times because I LOVE HER)
